Jake Ford

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Georgetown, Indiana. I attended high school at Our Lady of Providence, in Clarksville, IN, where I became involved with the visual arts. I attended the Hite Art Institute at the University of Louisville and have received my BFA in 3D Studio art in 2015. While at the University of Louisville I developed an interest in perceptual and behavioral psychology along with other social sciences which work to explain how and why humans behave the way we do. Through my work I use play to explore human sexuality, intimacy, personal identity, and how these interact and are expressed in different social situations. Currently, I am a working artist, exploring the world and all its wonderful inhabitants.
